Suspect Allegedly Threatens to Stab Man to Death

A Boalsburg man is under arrest after he allegedly brandished a knife and threatened to stab and kill a man.

State College Police say they've charged Michael Chambers, 37, with simple assault  making terroristic threats.

Chambers allegedly threatened the man after an argument broke out and the man pushed Chambers.

Police say they were called to 809 Ashworth Lane at about 3:45 p.m. Sunday. Officers report they saw Chambers holding a knife outside the residence. Police say he eventually put down the knife and was arrested.

He is currently being held at the Centre County Correctional Facility. His bail is set at $10,000.
