by on March 09, 2018 5:00 AM

Happy Friday, Happy Valley!

Start looking forward to spring with the three-day, 34th annual Central PA Home and Garden Show at the Bryce Jordan Center, or a Saturday workshop on designing your landscape at the Patton Township Municipal Building.

Check out Charter Day weekend at the Pennsylvania Military Museum, and enjoy the opening of the Art Alliance's Figure-ative Show. In the mood for music? You'll find concerts in Lemont and Millheim, or ballroom dance in State College. And at the State Theatre, you can see an HD broadcast of "Semiramide" from the Metropolitan Opera in New York, featuring State College's own Sarah Shafer

We've compiled some of the weekend highlights below.

This isn't all that's happening, either. There is plenty more around the area for you to enjoy and you can find it all on our calendar page. Explore the weekend's events and add your own if it isn't listed. Or see our Bar Tour and Movies pages for more options this weekend or anytime.
