According to a press release from the Patton Township Police Department, a 47-year old Patton Township man was taken into custody this morning, along with his 19-year old daughter, and delivered to the Centre County Jail Booking Center for arraignment.

Richard Rash and his daughter Kelly Rash were charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest stemming from an incident at Temples' Trailer Park on North Atherton Street.  Police were called to the trailer park at 2:27 a.m. regarding a disturbance.  Officers spoke to both Rash and his daughter who were loud and yelling profanity.

Both were told to quiet down and go inside their trailer.  When police attempted to take Richard Rash into custody, his daughter jumped between him and a Patton Township Officer.  Both Richard and Kelly were sprayed with pepper spray and handcuffed.

Another trailer park resident, Susan R. Fox, was also taken into custody for yelling at police officers and refusing to go inside.  Fox was later cited and released.

Richard Rash was also charged with public drunkenness and while Kelly Rash was also charged with obstructing administration of law.
