Over the weekend State police at Clearfield revealed that it was 30-year-old Rhonshawn Jackson, an inmate from Philadelphia, who started the fracus that resulted in 10 corrections officers being injured.

The incident started just before 6 p.m. Thursday in the inmate dining hall after Jackson refused to pick up his meal ticket after throwing it to the floor.

Also involved in the fight as officers tried to take Jackson out of the dining hall were 33-year-old Deablo Clentscale, 28-year-old Donnie Jackson, 51-year-old Nathan Izzard, 36-year-old Curtis Gibbs, and 33-year-old Paul Ford, all inmates from Philadelphia.

A 28-year-old male officer from Irvona sustained a fractured right orbital bone and a 37-year-old male officer from Curwensville sustained a broken nose and fractured orbital bone. Those were the two most serious injuries.

The investigation into the incident continues.
