Hip-hop star T.I., slated for a Sept. 24 concert at Penn State, may face jail time after an alleged drug offense, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
T.I., whose legal name is Clifford Harris Jr., and wife Tameka Cottle were arrested Wednesday in Los Angeles and charged with drug-related crimes. Harris is suspected of having possessed methamphetamine, according to The AJC.
Harris is still on probation after a weapons arrest three years ago, the paper reported.
But for now at least, his planned appearance at Penn State remains on schedule. That was the word Friday afternoon from Bernie Punt, marketing and sales director at the Bryce Jordan Center.
It wasn't immediately clear when court proceedings for T.I. may be scheduled.
He is set for an evening concert at the Jordan Center. Tickets for his University Park show went on sale Friday morning.
