VIDEO: Nick Pantalone, Teenage Cancer Fighter, Works THON Crowd
by on February 20, 2011 7:20 PM

"Hi. I’m Nick. I’m 17, and I fight cancer every day."

That’s how Nick Pantalone greeted the crowd gathered Sunday at the Bryce Jordan Center for the Penn State THON Family Hour.

Last February, a bus hit Pantalone, a student at Cedar Cliff High School in Camp Hill, Pa. Even though he was mostly unharmed, his parents insisted on taking him to the family doctor to get him checked out.

It was a good decision—the doctors found multiple tumors.

Despite the treatment, the upending of his personal life and the hair loss, Pantalone exudes optimism.

Check out the video below. (You can find all our THON coverage here.)

We fully expect to see Pantalone running for president one day.
