And, of course, the Centre County Grange Encampment and Fair, better known as "The Grange Fair," runs through Aug. 30. The Grange Fair is a city within a town, as campers "move into" the Grange Park in Centre Hall to live for more than a week. Come for the concerts, the rides, the amazing food, the games, and the competitions.
Friday, Aug. 24
Autoport plays host to Paul Brigman at 8 p.m.

The Darkhorse is back in business. $5 Miller Lite pitchers from 6 p.m. - 2 a.m.
In Hit and Run, former getaway driver Charlie Bronson jeopardizes his Witness Protection Plan identity in order to help his girlfriend get to Los Angeles. The feds and Charlie's former gang chase them on the road. College 9 Theatre and UEC 12 Theater are currently showing this film.
Saturday, Aug. 25
The State College Spikes are home against the Jamestown Jammers. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
It's the last day for The State Theatre to proudly present the classic musical "Fiddler on the Roof," starring Jeff Brown as Tevye, the milkman.
The Sizzle Sticks swing Webster's Cafe from 8-11 p.m. for your listening and dancing pleasure. All ages welcome.
Sunday, Aug. 26
"Anything Goes" is a trio of highly experienced professional musicians performing show tunes, old time standards, dixieland and whatever else comes to mind. Catch them at the Grange Fairgrounds.
The Penn State field hockey team hosts Virginia at noon at the Penn State Field Hockey Complex.
