Friday, Aug. 3

My Hero Zero will perform at 10:30 p.m. at Cafe 210 West. 

Rotelli's Friday night drink specials include $2 Blue Moon Drafts all day, $2 Miller Lite Drafts, $3 Pinnacle Drinks, $2.50 Micros from 9-11 p.m.

The State College Spikes are home against Hudson Valley at 7:05 p.m.



In Total Recall, a factory worker, Douglas Quaid, begins to suspect that he is a spy after visiting Rekall - a company that provides its clients with implanted fake memories of a life they would like to have led - goes wrong and he finds himself on the run. College 9 Theatre and UEC 12 Theater are currently showing this film.

Tarzan is this week's movie on the mountain at Tussey Mountain. The show starts at 8 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 4

Build and Grow Clinics are free to the public and occur every other Saturday at 10 a.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. at Lowe's.

Pennsylvania Certified Organic celebrates 15 years with First Ever Pennsylvania Organic FarmFest
Event slated for Aug. 3-4, at the Centre County Grange Fair Grounds.


Charcoal portraits and oil pastels inspired by yoga by Jessica Arends will be on display at Webster's Cafe for the month of August. Opening reception is at 6 p.m. Proceeds from the exhibit will help fund the artist's yoga teacher training in Chennai, India.

Sunday, Aug. 5

Drawn from the permanent collection, "Color My World" examines this trajectory toward color and includes a wide range of processes, from hand-tinted tintypes to dye-transfer prints to more recent chromogenic methods. Among the photographers included will be Henry Holmes Smith, Eliot Porter, Steve McCurry, Robert Heinecken, David Graham, John Paul Caponigro, Bill Jacobson, Gregory Crewdson, Cindy Sherman, and David Ottenstein.

Drop by the Palmer Art Museum from noon-4 p.m.
