Charcoal portraits and oil pastels inspired by yoga by Jessica Arends will be on display at Webster's Cafe for the month of August. Opening reception is at 6 p.m. Proceeds from the exhibit will help fund the artist's yoga teacher training in Chennai, India.

Drawn from the permanent collection, "Color My World" examines this trajectory toward color and includes a wide range of processes, from hand-tinted tintypes to dye-transfer prints to more recent chromogenic methods. Among the photographers included will be Henry Holmes Smith, Eliot Porter, Steve McCurry, Robert Heinecken, David Graham, John Paul Caponigro, Bill Jacobson, Gregory Crewdson, Cindy Sherman, and David Ottenstein.
