Movies

In "Hansel & Gretel:Witch Hunters," a spin on the fairy tale, Hansel and Gretel are now bounty hunters who track and kill witches all over the world. As the fabled Blood Moon approaches, the siblings encounter a new form of evil that might hold a secret to their past.

 Bars and Clubs

 DJ Dibs spins at 10 p.m. at Indigo and My Hero Zero plays at 10:30 p.m. at Cafe 210.

Saturday, Jan. 26

Family Night Winter Extravaganza starts at 4 p.m. at the State College YMCA. It's family fun including polar bear rock climbing, snowflake swimming and arts and crafts. Get complete details here

BeCAUSE the Night, A Celebration of Women in Rock is at 7 p.m. at the State Theatre and is a benefit concert for Easter Seals Central Pennsylvania and The State Theatre. Get complete details here.

Sunday, Jan. 27

Be sure to stop by the Central Pa. Bridal Expo, the area's premier bridal show. Sample wonderful food and luscious desserts and see what's innovative in gowns and flowers. It all starts at noon and runs through 4 p.m. at Celebration Hall, 2280 Commercial Drive.
