In "Hotel Transylvania," Dracula, who operates a high-end resort away from the human world, goes into overprotective mode when a boy discovers the resort and falls for the count's teen-aged daughter.

The Ale House plays host to Tommy Wareham from 6-8 p.m. and 9 p.m. - midnight

Saturday, Oct. 27

There's plenty of haunted activity for those looking for a good scare!

The Citizens Hook & Ladder Fire Co. Haunted Firehouse starts at 6 p.m. in Milesburg. The cost of this years event will be $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12.

"Sweeney Todd" is playing at the Pavilion Theatre on campus! Take in the musical, the story of Benjamin Barker, alias Sweeney Todd, who returns to London after 15 years' transportation on false charges. When he learns from his former landlady Mrs. Lovett that his wife poisoned herself after being raped by the judge who wrongly transported him (Judge Turpin by name), he vows revenge.

Sunday, Oct. 28

The Give Em 5! Run for Veterans 5K starts at 1 p.m. from the Bellefonte Area Middle School. 

Funds raised from this race will be made available to veterans in need of financial assistance through the Veterans Assistance Fund, a non-profit fund created specifically for helping our community’s warriors in their time of need. T-shirts; refreshments; awards to top runners, age group finishers, and veterans.
