Wegmans Gets OK To Sell Alcohol, Six-Packs

The state Liquor Control Board has approved the transfers of liquor licenses to allow the Wegmans in State College and five other Wegmans in Pennsylvania to sell beer.  However, the decision is being appealed.  

According to the Centre Daily Times, the Malt Beverage Distributors Association's appeal petition says the LCB rulings are in conflict with the state liquor control codes that prohibit beer sales at grocery stores.  Local distributor K.E.
