Penn State is rounding out its June recruiting haul with a flurry, securing a verbal commitment from Central Dauphin linebacker Zayd Issah Friday, according to the Penn State football website, Blue White Illustrated.

He was named the Pennsylvania AAAA Player of the Year in 2011.

Issah, a 6-foot-3, 205-pound three-star prospect, became the sixth recruit to verbally commit to Penn State this month and is the third linebacker in the 2013 recruiting class, which now stands at 14.

Joining him as PSU pledges this month: Florida cornerback Neiko Robinson, Philadelphia wide receiver Will Fuller, New Jersey linebacker Brandon Bell, Belle Vernon offensive lineman Dorian Johnson and Maryland linebacker/wide receiver Zach Bradshaw.

Of course, all of these commitments are not binding until a letter of intent is signed in February.
