State College Police are investigating the details surrounding a single-bicycle accident on Tuesday morning that sent one man to the trauma center at Altoona Regional Health System, including whether or not alcohol was a factor.

Police said the man was riding his bicycle around 2:30 a.m. on the 1000 block of South Pugh Street when he crashed through the rear window of a parked car. The man was able to get himself home but was later flown via Lifeflight to Altoona Regional because of the severity of the lacerations to his face that he sustained.

Police said the man was conscious when he was taken to the hospital but did not have further details on the man's condition.

Police could not release any identifying details on the man because DUI charges are pending.

Meanwhile, police are investigating a report from a woman just after 1 a.m. on Tuesday who lives in the Palmerton apartment building, 316 W. Beaver Ave. She told police – who were at the time, chasing down a naked, 21-year-old man who had entered a woman's apartment and started masturbating – that on Monday, she found a man in her apartment, covered in chocolate.

Police do not have any more details on the chocolate-covered male at this time and could not say if the incidents are connected.
