Two Nittany Lions will hear their names called as nominated athletes during sport's biggest award show.
Women's volleyball player Micha Hancock and wrestler David Taylor have both been nominated for ESPY awards which are presented by ESPN.
Both have been nominated for Best Female/Male College Athlete respectively.
In the men's category, Taylor is up against basketball star and national player of the year Doug McDermott, Boston College hockey player and Hobey Baker winner Johnny Gaudreau, Lyle Thompson of Albany lacrosse and Heisman winner Jameis Winston from Florida State.
Taylor is a four-time All-American who helped lead the Nittany Lions to a fourth straight NCAA title this season. Earlier this week he was named the Big Ten's Male Athlete of The Year.
Hancock is one of five nominees alongside Virginia soccer's Morgan Brian, Maryland lacrosse's Taylor Cummings, Florida softball's Hannah Rogers and UConn basketball's Breanna Stewart.
Hancock was a vital part of Penn State women's volleyball's sixth NCAA title and 34-2 record this past season.
Fans can vote on all the awards for the ESPYs at espn.go.com/espys/2014. Voting ends at 9 p.m. July 16. Winners will be announced that day.
