Penn State football will kick off its week three meeting against Georgia State at 7:30 PM on BTN the network announced on Tuesday morning.

The Nittany Lions' schedule is slowly taking shape as the first three weeks of the season are set in stone already. Penn State will open the season against Akron for a Noon kick on ABC with the following week's game against Pitt kicking off at 3:30 on ABC as well.

It should be an interesting trip for Georgia State under the lights that week as the program looks to adjust to a new coaching staff and plenty of new faces across the roster. The Panthers went 3-9 last season but did manage to hang around with Wisconsin in Madison while the Badgers won the game 23-17.

Georgia State is now coached byShawn Elliott who worked previous as the offensive line coach at South Carolina from 2010-16.

Down the road it was previously announced that Penn State will face Ohio State at 3:30 in Columbus and face Rutgers and Northwestern both at Noon, the game against the Wildcats on the road in Evanston.

Penn State big road meeting at Iowa and home game against Michigan are still awaiting the announcement of their kick times.
