Touring in support of his new album, "KOD," J. Cole will make a stop in State College this fall.

The North Carolina rapper will bring his 34-date North American tour to the Bryce Jordan Center on Friday, Sept. 28, the eve of Penn State football's White Out game against Ohio State. The show is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

He will be joined by special guest Young Thug.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday and will be available through ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000 and in person at all Bryce Jordan Center ticket outlets. (Eisenhower Auditorium, the Downtown Theatre Center and Altoona Campus Ticket Outlet are not open on Saturdays). A Penn State student presale begins at 10 a.m. on Friday.

Released in April, "KOD" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, his fifth consecutive album to top the chart, and broke streaming records on Apple Music and Spotify.

Cole previously visited the Jordan Center in 2010 when he opened for Jay-Z.

His upcoming stop at the BJC adds to a busy and star-studded early fall at the venue, which also will include Elton John (Sept. 16), Kevin Hart (Sept. 22), the Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience (Sept. 30), Justin Timberlake (Oct. 15), Metallica (Oct. 20) and Old Dominion (Oct. 26)
