Penn State Football Holds Steady At No. 15 In Latest AP Poll
With the first week of the college football season now officially in the books, the second AP Poll of the season has the Nittany Lions holding firm at the No.15 spot.
A fairly subdued opening week made for little movement in the Top 25 as No.11 Oregon was the only Top 25 team to lose, falling to then No.16 Auburn, the Tigers bouncing up to the No.10 spot.
Across the Big Ten both Ohio State and Michigan stayed put at No.5 and No.7 respectively while Wisconsin moved up to No.17 from the 19th spot with Iowa holding at No.20 while Nebraska rounded out the conference's representation down from No.24 to No.25.
Minnesota, the Nittany Lions' early November opponent received votes but is not ranked in the Top 25.
Outside the Big Ten, Joe Moorhead and Tommy Stevens come in, effectively, at the No.28 spot.
The full AP Top 25 can be read here, and is normally released Sunday afternoon.
