With the second week of the college football season now officially in the books, the latest AP Poll has the Nittany Lions up two spots to No. 13 in the nation after a 45-13 win and second half surge over Buffalo.
Across the Big Ten both Ohio State and Michigan moved down in the polls, Ohio State just one spot to No. 6 while Michigan fell three places to No. 10 after a double-overtime victory against Army in Ann Arbor. Wisconsin moved up three spots to the No. 14 slot while Michigan State improved one place to No.18.
Iowa also moved up one place to No. 19 as well as Maryland now ranked at No. 21.
Minnesota, the Nittany Lions' early November opponent received a vote but is not ranked in the Top 25.
Outside the Big Ten, Joe Moorhead and Tommy Stevens' Mississippi State team comes in, effectively, at the No. 28 spot.
The full AP Top 25 can be read here, and is normally released Sunday afternoon.
Penn State's schedule now includes the No. 6, No. 10, No. 18, No. 19 and No. 21 ranked teams.
