The Community Diversity Group and State College Borough will host the second annual Multicultural Unity Fair on Saturday.
Scheduled for noon to 4 p.m. at the State College Municipal Building, 243 S. Allen St., the fair is is intended to be a day of celebration, fun and togetherness to "meet and talk with our diverse students and community members," according to an event announcement.
The day will include entertainment, food, international games and activities, dozens of information booths.
Featured performers will include Roots of Life, Drums of West Africa, Patrick Littlewolf Brooks, Caliente PSU, Happy Valley Chinese School, Penn State International Dance Ensemble, Society of Indian Music and Arts (SIMA) and Penn State Social Dance Club.
Cozy Thai Bistro, Pita Cabana Cafe, India Pavilion and Plaza Mexican Bar and Grill will be featured food vendors
The Multicultural Unity Fair was introduced in 2018 to recognize "how our cultural differences enrich our lives and our community" and the State College community's "commitment to creating a diverse, inclusive, and respectful environment where all are welcome."
