Derek Walker, a candidate for the 5th Congressional District has been charged with felony burglary and criminal trespas after an alleged incident involving an ex-girlfriend. The charges come with less than a week to the Pennsylvania primary.
According to the Daily Collegian
, Walker was charged with felony burglary and criminal trespass charges, as well as misdemeanor disorderly conduct, stalking, and four counts of invasion of privacy, according to the court documents.
The charges stem from an encounter between Walker and his ex-girlfriend last summer. According to the criminal complaint, Walker entered his ex-girlfriend's apartment and found her with a male companion. Walker told his ex-girlfriend he was taping her with his cell phone and said, "This video is going to put an end to your job with the school district," according to the complaint.
Walker denied the charges in statement issued yesterday. (Read More)
