Gary Brian Pattersn waived his preliminary hearing yesterday and is headed to trial on charges he sexually assaulted a female on-campus in April. Patterson's attorney believes there is not enough evidence to convict the former Penn State Beaver student.
According to the Daily Collegian
, Patterson was charged last week with the April 5th sexual assault of a woman in Redifer Commons. Patterson's attorney, Brad Hamric, stated his client admitted to police he had sex with the woman but did not commit sexual assault.
Patterson has been charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, indecent exposure, indecent assault, and criminal conspiracy. (Read More)
