An 18-year-old State College man is facing assault and related charges after he hit another man with an aluminum baseball bat early Saturday, borough police said.

They said it happened at 1:48 a.m. on the 100 block of Limerock Terrace, in College Township. Evan Taylor is accused of striking the victim multiple times, leaving the victim with a possible broken wrist after their fight, police said.

Taylor was not reported to have suffered any injuries himself.

He was arraigned before District Judge Allen Sinclair on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment, police said. Taylor is expected to face next a preliminary hearing.
