Penn State Football: Single Game Ticket Info Released, Pitt And Michigan Game Not Included

by on June 21, 2017 4:09 PM

Penn State fans can get their hands on single game tickets starting Tuesday, July 11 at 10 a.m. but it will be hard to get a hold of tickets to see the Nittany Lions play Pitt or Michigan.

According to Penn State athletics:

Due to overwhelming demand in season tickets and during the Nittany Lion Club pre-sale in May, the Pitt and Michigan games will not be available as part of the public ticket sale. There are still a limited number of tickets for the Pitt and Michigan games that are available by purchasing season tickets or the recent graduate season tickets.

The good news for fans wanting to watch the biggest games of the year is that there are plenty of tickets on the secondary market, unfortunately prices have been sitting well above $100 for each seat.

As far as the rest of the season, variable pricing for single game tickets will be used again this year with single game tickets starting at just $30 per person. To purchase tickets, fans can visit PSUnrivaled.com, call 1-800-NITTANY (weekdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.) or visit the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office weekdays from 9 a.m-4:30 p.m. Fans are able to choose their own single game seats online by utilizing the Ticketmaster Interactive Seat Map on July 11 after 10 a.m.

The Nittany Lions open the season against Akron (Sept. 2; noon) and face Pitt (Sept. 9; 3:30 p.m.) and Georgia State (Sept. 16; 7:30 p.m.) to close out a three-game homestand to start the year. In Big Ten play, Penn State welcomes Indiana (Sept. 30), Michigan (Oct. 21), Rutgers (Nov. 11; noon - Homecoming) and Nebraska (Nov. 18) to Happy Valley.

Fans interested in purchasing single game tickets can review the single game seating chart by price and refer to the FAQ on the variable pricing system at www.GoPSUsports.com/tickets.

Advance parking for each home game can be purchased as part of the July 11 ticket sale as well. General parking purchased in advance is $20 per car, while paying to park on game day when arriving to the general lots will cost $40. Fans are encouraged to purchase parking passes in advance to not only realize the savings, but to assist in smoother traffic and parking operations by displaying the pass as they approach roads to stadium parking. Fans can purchase up to three advance single game parking passes per account, per game. The Overnight RV lot is sold out for the season. Overnight RVs will be directed to the Grange Fairgrounds.
