The  Pennsylvania State School of Theatre's University Resident Theatre Company will present Anton Chekhov's "The Cherry Orchard," through Nov. 8 in the Playhouse Theatre, on the University Park campus.

Directed by Cary Libkin with a cast of 16, this timeless Russian classic about a magnificent house filled with foolish people during the last years of Tsarist rule is considered one of the greatest plays ever written. Facing poverty and ruin, nobody in the house knows what to do ... except for a friendly former servant.

Tickets (preview $10, general and matinee $14, student-with a valid Penn State I.D. $8.50) are available at the Penn State Downtown Ticket Center, Eisenhower Box Office, Bryce Jordan Center, or by calling (814) 863-0255 or (800) ARTS-TIX.
