Spikes Lose To Cyclones

The Brooklyn Cyclones starting pitcher Brad Holt shut down the Spikes Sunday night at KeySpan Park as Brooklyn beat the Spikes 2-0. Holt struck out 10 batters in seven innings and allowed only four hits.
Ramon Aguero (0-4) was the losing pitcher. Aguero pitched three innings, allowing one run on three hits.
Ciro Rosero earned two of the Spikes' five hits, singling in the second and fourth innings.
The two teams will play tonight at 7:00 p.m. at KeySpan Park.
