Clinton, Obama Make Campaign Stops In The Region

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton made national headlines during her campaign stops in Westmoreland County Tuesday, and on Thursday her counterpart will pay a visit there. Barack Obama is scheduled for a stop at Hempfield High School near Greensburg in the afternoon following stops in Pittsburgh earlier in the day.

Meanwhile, former President Bill Clinton will make an appearance Thursday night on the Penn State Main Campus. His speech begins at 8 p.m.

His wife's rival, Barack Obama, plans visits to the Alleghenies this weekend. Sources said his "Road To Change" bus tour will bring him to University Park for an appearance on Sunday. Also, the Tribune Democrat reported that city officials believe Obama is expected to appear at Greater Johnstown High School on Saturday morning.
