Dr. Chandan Vora Given Deadline To Clean Up Property

Thursday, March 27, 2008 – updated: 1:58 pm EDT March 27, 2008

Johnstown City Council members gave Dr. Chandan Vora until April 15 to clean up the mess around her Robb Avenue property.

On Tuesday, a city codes inspector toured the property under Vora's supervision.

Earlier this year, she was charged with violating 15 different fire codes because of the mess. A jury found her guilty of scattering garbage and causing a nuisance.

Vora is due back in court next month for violating zoning ordinances.
