Hospital Seeks Public Support

A public meeting is scheduled for Wednesday night in Centre County on the future of Philipsburg Hospital.

The hospital's new CEO , Thomas Robinson, said he hopes the community turns out to demonstrate support for its reopening. He also said there will be an explanation of how a recent federal bankruptcy court ruling could derail that plan.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Philipsburg Osceola High School.
