A man who was wanted on several sex charges has been located in a New York jail.

Police described Robert Jackson Jr. as a very violent man who has no respect toward females, the victims of his alleged crimes.

Police learned last November that Jackson had sex with a 15-year-old girl at the Oakhurst Homes in Johnstown's West End.

They said he then took the girl to New York and made her work in a prostitution ring.

A few weeks later, the teen was caught in New York and brought home to Johnstown. She then identified Jackson from a photo lineup.

In February, Jackson was arrested in New York and jailed at Rikers Island.

He gave a a fake name so he was not identified by federal marshals until Wednesday.

Jackson is also wanted for raping another woman at the Oakhurst Homes. He's on probation in Blair County for sex crimes there and New York City police are building a case against him in connection with his alleged involvement with the prostitution ring.
