EBENSBURG, Pa. -- After twelve years of searching for clues, Ebensburg State Police try a new approach to find leads in Beth Ann Bodenschatz's murder.Bodenschatz was found shot and killed in her home in Croyle Township on Jan. 12, 1996.Investigators have not made an arrest in the case, but they are trying to generate new leads by placing several billboards across the county."My thoughts were if we put it up on a billboard, if there's anyone who knows anything and they have to ride past it day after day, we might get a call from somebody that knows something that would help us solve the case," Pennsylvania State Police Sgt. William Bonin said. The billboards have been placed along Route 219 and Route 22 and show a picture of Bodenschatz and her daughter, they also ask anyone with information to call Ebensburg State Police at 814-471-6500.
