Blair County Home & Garden Show
The Blair County Home & Garden Show will take place at the Jaffa Mosque March 7th-9th. The show is open from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Saturday, and Noon - 5 p.m. Sunday. Over 100 exhibitors will be present at the show. Exhibitor booths include home builders, carpet stores, landscapers, banks, painters, window companies, interior designers, and furniture stores. Highlighting this year's show is the guest appearance by Jim Parks, star of HGTV's "New Spaces." Parks will host seminars each day of the show. For a complete list of exhibitors and Parks' seminars, visit the show's website.  Admission to the show is $3/adult and children ages 12 and under are admitted free.

Easter Bunny Arrival
The Easter Bunny arrives at the Nittany Mall March 8th at 10 a.m. This year the Easter Bunny will be located near Dino's Restaurant. An Easter egg decorating contest will also take place from 10 a.m. - Noon. Participants will be divided into the following age groups, 2-6 and 7-11. Winners of the contest will receive prizes from stores in the mall. For a list of picture times with the Easter Bunny, visit the mall's website.

Toys For Tots Literacy Program
The UPS Store in the Colonnade Plaza, in conjunction with Mail Boxes Etc. and The UPS Store locations across the country, has teamed up with the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation to announce its first year-round initiative, the Toys for Tots Literacy Program. Throughout March, The UPS Store will host a book drive to collect new books for local children. The store will also be selling $1 donation cards. For every dollar donated, a book will be donated to a local child, courtesy of Scholastic, Inc. For more information about the program, visit www.ToysforTotsLiteracy.org.
