2008 Penn State Football Blue/White Weekend The 2008 Penn State Blue/White Weekend will take place April 18th & 19th in
and around Beaver Stadium. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. Friday with a carnival
outside of Beaver Stadium followed by fireworks at 9 p.m. The carnival opens
again on Saturday at 10 a.m. and runs until 10 p.m. A pre-game autograph
session will be held at 12:30 p.m. in Beaver Stadium followed by the Blue/White
game at 2 p.m. There will be another fireworks display Saturday evening at 9

Skating Under The Big Top The Penn State Ice Rink will host Skating Under The Big Top April 18th & 19th at 7:30 p.m. The show is a unique blend of guest Olympic Silver Medalists & National competitors, the rink's staff, and other local skaters. The featured performers are Tanith Belbin & Ben Agosto, the 2006 Olympic Silver Medalists in Ice Dance. Tickets to the show are $12 for adults and $10 for children and Penn State students. Saturday & Sunday, April 19th & 20th Battery B Drill Weekend 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. PA Military Museum A Civil War era re-enactment group will camp on the museum grounds demonstrating the loading and firing of replica, period artillery pieces.

Watershed Cleanup Day 2008 ClearWater Conservancy will host its 12th annual Watershed Cleanup Day on April 19th from 8 a.m. to Noon. Volunteers will be assigned to a site in Centre County where debris will be removed from streams, waterways, illegal dumpsites, and sinkholes. A picnic will be held at the Millbrook Marsh Nature Center for volunteers following the cleanup. Volunteers interested in participating can register by calling 237-0400.
