Special Olympics Pennsylvania 2008 Summer Games
The Special Olympics Pennsylvania 2008 Summer Games will take place June 6th & 7th at Penn State University. The event features competition in aquatics, bowling, equestrian events, golf, gymnastics, softball, and tennis. Volunteer opportunities are available in the following categories: athletic events & games, athlete arrival & exit, athlete escort, opening & closing ceremonies, Olympic Village, etc. Spectators are welcome to visit and watch any of the competitions. Traditional Penn State Alumni Reunion Weekend
Reunion Weekend is a celebration for all Penn State graduates from the classes of 1963, 1958, & Pioneers( classes of 1957 and earlier). For more information or to register as a graduate for the weekend, visit the Penn State Alumni Association's website.

Music & Picnic Series At South Hills
5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
South Hills School Lawn
The picnic begins at 5 p.m. with music starting at 6 p.m. This week's band is the Bellefonte Community Band. Families are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner, chairs, blankets, etc. Admission is free.
State College Farmer's Market
The State College Farmer's Market is once again open on Fridays in downtown State College. The market runs from 11:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on Locust Lane.
