Downtown Bazaar & Summer's Best Music Fest

Downtown State College will host the annual Street Bazaar June 28th from 9:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. on the 100 and 200 blocks of South Allen Street.  The bazaar will feature specials from downtown merchants, children's activities, and food vendors.  The Summer's Best Music Fest will feature over 20 live performances on four different stages in downtown State College.  Performances will take place on Allen Street, Calder Way, Heister Street, and in the Penn State Downtown Theater.  Performances begin at 9 a.m. and finish at 10 p.m.  Admission to the Street Bazaar and Music Fest is free.


Tussey Mountain Rib Fest

Tussey Mountain will host a Rib Fest June 28th beginning at 5:30 p.m. The Rib Fest will feature a performance by The Blues Brotherhood, a Blues Brothers tribute band, at 8 p.m. Food will be provided by Clems BBQ and will include ribs, burgers, hot dogs, fries, and corn on the cob. Tussey Mountain will also prepare a clambake featuring steamed clams, chicken, and corn. Admission to the Rib Fest is $5 for adults and children ages 12 and under are admitted free; admission does not include food.

CRPR Discounted Amusement Park Tickets

Once again, Centre Region Parks & Recreation will be offering discounted tickets to over 30 amusement parks throughout Pennsylvania and other states.  Discounted tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis and can be purchased by residents and non-residents of the Centre Region.  Parks offering discounted tickets include, Cedar Point, DelGrosso's, Hersheypark, Kennywood, Kings Dominion, Sandcastle Waterpark, etc.  Proceeds from the ticket sales benefit the Centre Region Gifts-For-Parks program.  For a complete listing of amusement park tickets available, visit CRPR's website.
