Tussey Mountain Wing Festival

Tussey Mountain's annual Wing Festival will take place Thursday evenings through the end of August.  Gates open each week at 5:30 p.m. with music starting at 6 p.m.  Headlining bands take to the stage at 8 p.m. each week.  Body & Soul will be the headlining band for this week's wing festival on July 24th.  Wings from various restaurants will be available to purchase when the gates open at 5:30 p.m.  Besides wings, other food choices include chicken fingers, fries, funnel cakes, and lemonade.  Admission to the festival is $5/person and children ages 12 and under are admitted free.  For more information about the wing festival and to view the entertainment schedule, visit Tussey Mountain's website.

State College Spikes Kids Baseball Clinic
11:00 a.m.
Medlar Field
Registration begins at 11 a.m. with the clinic starting at Noon. Kids can learn how to throw, hit, field, and run the bases from the pros. The clinic ends at 2 p.m., followed by an autograph session. The clinic is open to children ages 14 & under and is free for children with a ticket to the Spikes' July 20th game.

The picnic begins at 5 p.m. with the music starting at 6 p.m. This week's band is Tyne and the Fastline. Families are encouraged to bring food, snacks, blankets, and chairs. Admission is free.

Nita-Nee Kennel Club Annual All Breed Dog Show

The Nita-Nee Kennel Club will host their Annual All Breed Dog Show July 18th-20th at the Grange Fairgrounds in Centre Hall. Rally and obedience trials will be held Friday and Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. The first confirmation show begins Saturday morning and continues into the afternoon. The second confirmation show begins Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. Spectators are welcome at all events. Pet product and food vendors will be present at the show. Guests are asked to leave family pets at home. Parking and admission is free. For more information about the show, visit the club's website.

Altoona.com & StateCollege.com, in partnership with the Bryce Jordan Center, will host the 2008 Wedding Showcase Altoona.com & StateCollege.com, in partnership with the Bryce Jordan Center, will host the 2008 Wedding Showcase Sunday, September 28th from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Bryce Jordan Center.

The show will feature numerous vendors, a fashion show, live seminars, etc.
