Bluegrass BBQ On The Deck

Every Monday evening through August 31st, Tussey Mountain will host Bluegrass BBQ On The Deck. The event begins each Monday evening at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m. Food includes Clem's ribs, burgers, salads, and more. There is also a clam bake bag special which features half a dozen clams, chicken, potatoes, and corn on the cob. Andy Tolins Bluegrass Revue performs outside on the deck each Monday evening from 7-10 p.m. For more information about the weekly event, visit Tussey Mountain's website.

State College Spikes Paint The Park Pink Night

The State College Spikes will host Paint The Park Pink Night Wednesday, August 13th at Medlar Field. The Spikes' players will play the entire game in pink jerseys. During the game, fans can bid on the jerseys being worn by the players and at the end of the game, the jerseys will be auctioned off. Proceeds from the pink jersey auction will be donated to breast cancer research. Also, the first 1,500 women through the gates will receive a free, pink visor. The Spikes will play the Staten Island Yankees and the first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. For more information about the promotion, or to purchase tickets to the game, visit the State College Spikes' website.

2008 Wedding Showcase &, in partnership with the Bryce Jordan Center, will host the 2008 Wedding Showcase Sunday, September 28th from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Bryce Jordan Center.

The show will feature numerous vendors, a fashion show, live seminars, etc.
