Nittany Antique Machinery Association Fall Show

The 34th Annual Nittany Antique Machinery Association Fall Show begins, Thursday, September 4th at Penns Cave in Centre Hall .The show runs through Sunday, September 7th and features tractor displays & parades, antique tractors, antique farm machinery, horse drawn wagons, model trains, antique cars & trucks, an antique tractor pull, flea market & craft vendors, a toy tractor show, and homemade apple cider and icream.  A Mobile Ag Education Science Lab will also be at the show for children. The lab will feature 12 work stations with hands-on science experiments for children in grades 3-7.  Single-day admission is $5/adult and children ages 12 and under are admitted free.   A four-day pass can be purchased for $15/adult. Blue Band Tailgreat Celebrations

Prior to all home Penn State football games, the Bryce Jordan Center will once again host their Tailgreat pre-game pep rally for Penn State fans. Doors to the pep rally open three hours prior to kick-off. At this week's Tailgreat, the Heisman trophy will be on display from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. All season, the first 1,000 kids ages 14 and under through the door will receive a free football card. Cards will be handed out at the Tailgreat Fan Headquarters located on the concourse level of the BJC. Each pep rally will feature the Blue Band, Penn State cheerleaders, the Nittany Lion, and games for children. For more information about the Tailgreats, visit the Bryce Jordan Center's website.

2008 Wedding Showcase &, in partnership with the Bryce Jordan Center, will host the 2008 Wedding Showcase Sunday, September 28th from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Bryce Jordan Center.

The show will feature numerous vendors, a fashion show, live seminars, etc.
