Bellefonte Victorian Christmas

The annual Bellefonte Victorian Christmas celebration will take place Friday-Sunday, December 12th-14th throughout downtown Bellefonte.  The celebration begins with a special ceremony on the steps of the courthouse at 7 p.m. Friday evening.  There will also be horse & buggy rides through Bellefonte from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and all day on Saturday.  The Bellefonte YMCA & American Philatelic Society will host a craft show from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.  Also, tours of Victorian homes will be given throughout the weekend.  A shuttle service will run from the Bellefonte High School to downtown.

The non-profit group, State College Suzuki Program, will host the holiday concert.  Guests are asked to bring canned goods or monetary donations for the State College Food Bank.

State College Jingle Bell Run/Walk

The Jingle Bell Run/Walk will take place Saturday, December 13th at 11 a.m. at Medlar Field.  Participants can choose from a 5K run or a one mile fun run/walk.  Registration begins at 10 a.m. and is $25/person the day of the race.  Proceeds from the event will benefit the Central PA Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation.  There will also be a free kids' fun run at Noon for children ages 12 & under.  For more information about the race or to make a donation to the foundation, please call 717-599-2073.
