SpikesFest 2009

The annual SpikesFest will take place Sunday, February 15th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Penn State Multi-Sport Facility. The indoor baseball carnival will feature a free autograph session, prizes, inflatable games, Ike the Spike, a silent auction, batting cages, and a speed pitch station.  From 2-3 p.m. local baseball players can participate in hitting, fielding, and baserunning clinics with other Spikes players.  Admission to the event is free.

American Dream Housing Fund Benefit

The Centre County Association of REALTORS will host the benefit Friday, February 13th from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Ramada Inn.  The headlining item of the auction will be a new home package courtesy of CDG Properties.  The event is open to the public and tickets are $20/person.  Proceeds from the evening will benefit the American Dream Housing Fund.  To purchase tickets or for more information regarding bidder eligibility requirements, please call CCAR at 238-7622.
