Community Spotlight

THON 2009

The annual Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon will take place Friday-Sunday, February 20th-22nd at the Bryce Jordan Center.  Throughout the year, various student groups & organizations have raised money and will now dance for 48 hours straight, beginning Friday.  Proceeds collected will benefit The Four Diamonds Fund, a group which provides medical funds and more for families battling pediatric cancer.  Last year, THON raised over $6.6 million to fight pediatric cancer.  THON is open to the public and admission to watch the dancers is free.  The final amount of money raised will be announced Sunday.  To purchase 2009 THON merchandise or to make a donation, visit THON's website.
