Central PA Farm Tour

Saturday from 12:30 to 5:00 pm you can visit working, local area farms. The Farm Tour provides access to farms around the region, with farm fresh products available for saie. See livestock up close, take a look inside a milking house, or just wander around the beatiful gardens!  A Google map of the farms is available here.

Cost: $10 per car, $3 per bike Pay at the first farm you visit.

Every Monday at Tussey Mountain the music starts nightly at 6pm (Gates open 5:30)...all under tent cover.  Enjoy a slew of savory Clems BBQ products plus family favorites: Mtn Burgers, Fries, Assorted Salads, Hot Dogs, Sausage Sandwichs, and Corn on the Cob--And last years favorite, The Tussey Mt Clambake, clams,chicken,sausage, potatoe, corn on the cob.

Gatesburg Bicentennial Homecoming

A celebration of the bicentennial for Gatesburg located in western Ferguson Township will be held on August 7 & 8, 2009. Events include parade (8/7 6pm), local entertainment, charcoal making, blacksmith demonstration, Civil and Revolutionary War re-enactments, pig roast concluding with the dedication of the Veteran's Memorial on Saturday evening at 8:00 p.m.


Ice Cream Social

You and your dogs are invited to join PAWS and the Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra for an Ice Cream Social on Saturday, August 8, 1-3 pm! The Ice Cream Social will be held at PAWS. There will be dog contests - Best Ears, Most Affectionate, Mug Only a Mother Could Love, and Most Unusual Feature. Entertainment will be provided by the Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra. The suggested donation is $20. All proceeds will benefit PAWS and the Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra.
