Statecollege.com Announces New Online Ordering

A new feature to Statecollege.com, Online Ordering,  will allow patrons to place food orders from their desktop or lap top, and by the end of August,  from their hand held mobile devices.  The AutoPort, Golden Wok, Quiznos, Champs, Damon's, Fridays, and Roly Poly are just of the few local establishments who are currently accepting online orders.  This state of the art technology also offers online coupons, virtual tours, and Blogging capabilities for merchants.  Try it out today!

Ag Progress Days

Ag Progress Days, Pennsylvania's largest outdoor agricultural exposition, will return for its annual three-day run, Aug. 18-20. Sponsored by Penn State's College of Agricultural Sciences, the event is held at the Russell E. Larson Agricultural Research Center at Rock Springs, nine miles southwest of State College on Pa. Route 45.

NYPL All-Star Events

The All-Star Game will be a three-day celebration from Sunday, August 16 to Tuesday, August 18.  All-Star events begin on the 16th with the FREE  Downtown State College All-Star FanFest on the 200 block of Allen Street between Beaver and Foster Avenues from 1-5 p.m. Inflatable games, carnival attractions, batting cages and more!

Monday's slate of activities includes the NYPL All-Star Mountain Bash from 4-9 p.m. at Tussey Mountain.  The all-inclusive ticket ($80) to the Bash includes the chance to see All-Star players and coaches, fully catered menu and musical entertainment

The NYPL All-Star Game is scheduled Aug. 18 with the first pitch at 7:15.  Gates open at 3pm for autographs, a Home Run Derby and then stick around for Fireworks after the game!

Bellefonte Arts and Crafts Fair

This weekend (8/14-16) more than 100 artists and crafters will set up to display their wares in booths along the streets of beautiful downtown Bellefonte. Live musical entertainment, children's craft activities, food vendors, and plenty of fun for the entire family! 

Also, Herbie's Hometown Loop (4 mile Run/Walk, 16 mile non-competitive bike ride) will be taking place 8/15 at the Bellefonte Middle School. The run/walk starts at 8:30 AM. The bike ride is a fun 2 loops around Bellefonte starting at 10:30 AM. In addition, there will be kid’s activities, entertainment, giveaways in a fun, family-oriented event. Stick around after the run/walk/ride and enjoy the refreshments, vendors and entertainment.
