Family Tradition" -- The Centre County Grange Encampment and Fair,
better known as "The Grange Fair," is coming up next week, August 27-September 3, 2009. The
Grange Fair is a city within a town, as campers "move into" the Grange
Park in Centre Hall, PA to live for more than a week. From sunup to sundown, fair activities abound including tractor pulls,
draft-horse shows, carnival rides, horseshoe pitching, a
queen contest, bake-sale auction, music shows, commercial exhibits, a livestock sale and, of course, great food!
Tussey Mountain Wingfest
Summer is winding down and the Tussey Moutnain WIngfests are wrapping up. Next Thursday (Aug. 27) is the last chance to check out some tasty wings and listen to some great music. Make plans now to stop up for this Family Friendly event!
