2009 Wedding Showcase
Attention all brides and bridesmaids, grooms and groomsmen! StateCollege.com, Altoona.com & State College Magazine, in partnership with the Bryce Jordan Center, are proud to announce the return of the Wedding Showcase! The largest of its kind in Central Pennsylvania, the Wedding Showcase will once again feature exhibitors serving a bride and groom’s every desire. Anything and everything you need to make that special day a perfect day can be found this Sunday at the Bryce Jordan Center!
Brides who pre-register at www.weddingpage.com will receive FREE ADMISSION into the showcase, while a $5 admission will apply to all other attendees.

The Bard in Bellefonte
Sunday a free festival of live performances in theatre, dance and music celebrating Shakespeare will take place in Bellefonte’s Talleyrand Park. The event features more than 30 performers and artisans who will offer
games, activities and theatre, music and dance performances for the
entire family. Make a jester hat, pin the head on Macbeth, have your face painted,
learn to juggle, dance the Pavane or accept the Queen’s Challenge and
compete in competitions.

Apple Harvest Festival and Car Show
The Milesburg Museum and Historical Society APPLE HARVEST FESTIVAL
& CAR SHOW will be held Saturday, September 26th, 2009 on Market
Street in Milesburg from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.There will be a luncheon stand, homemade baked goods, apple dumplings, crafts and demonstrations.
First Thursday
First Thursday State College will celebrate the arts on October 1st
with a variety of exhibits, performances, demonstrations, and
activities. Parking is free that evening at all municipal street
meters and parking garages. Most participating venues will be marked by sidewalk
posters. All events are open to the public and admission to First
Thursday events is free.
