Festival of the Trees
This weekend is the 15th Annual Festival of Trees, featuring community-decorated trees, craft vendors and entertainment.Community organizations, businesses, clubs and civic groups will each
decorate their own individual trees – the creativity and beauty of the
displays is truly amazing! Presented by the State College Family YMCA in collaboration with the
Penn State Forestry Society, the Festival will be held at the Penn
State Ag Arena.
Spikes Winter Wonderland
The State College Spikes will be opening the gates at Medlar Field at
Lubrano Park at Noon on Saturday, Dec. 12 for the Winter
Wonderland Open House.
Admission is FREE, fans are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy or
non-perishable food item. Events include including behind-the-scenes
tours of the ballpark, activities in the
indoor batting cages, interactive kids games, arts and crafts and
visits from Ike the Spike, Nookie Monster, Bob the Baseball Dog and
special guest Santa Claus. Members of the Penn State Baseball team will
be on hand to meet and greet fans.

Ordinance, the State College Borough Council decided Monday night
during their bi-monthly meeting to wait until February 2010 to vote on

VIctorian Christmas Bellefonte
Bellefonte Victorian Christmas, one of the most beautiful and popular
annual events in central Pennsylvania! Opening ceremony Friday evening.
Saturday and Sunday activities include a wonderful arts and crafts
