2010 First Night State College
First Night State College will take over downtown Dec. 31. Along
with the large ice sculptures on Allen St., FIrst Night will feature
musical and theatrical performances
in downtown churches, carriage rides, reindeer display, a Grand
Procession, indoor and outdoor resolution sculptures, and art workshops
for young people downtown and at the Palmer Museum of Art on the Penn
Capital One Bowl on Big Screen FREE!
Head over to The State Theatre to cheer on the Nittany Lions as they battle the
Louisiana State Tigers in the 2010 Capital One Bowl on their 31-foot big
screen with state of the art surround sound! There's nothing else like
it! First come, first serve. Doors open at 12 pm.
NOTE: For people attending, The State Theatre will be accepting monetary donations in
any denomination for the recent victims of the fire in Bellefonte.

First Night Ice Skating
Start off your family New Year's Eve up at the PSU Ice Rink. Skating will be from 5:00pm until 11:00pm. Shuttles will run to the ice rink from College Avenue Downtown. Button is required and skates are only $1.75.
