Bat Tours at Penn's Cave
Penn’s Cave & Wildlife Park is once again offering a special new Bat Tour every Saturday and Sunday through February. Bat Tours will discuss the facts, folklore and fantasy of these unique flying mammals who spend their winter hibernating in the cracks and crevices inside the cave. Space is limited. Play In The Snow At Black Mo
There may not be much snow, but there will be plenty of winter activities happening this Saturday at Black Moshannon State Park. Most are from noon to 4 PM. Venture on the ice, where an instructor and
a few free-loan skates are available, or play broom-ball (it's like
hockey) with or without skates. Kids can create Pine Cone Feeders at 4:00 PM Huddle round the fire to
make s'mores at 5:00, then peer through telescopes at the Moon Watch at
5:30. Close the day at 6:00 with a Moonlight Ski across the Lake. Activities begin at or near the Environmental Learning Center. Hot drinks and food will be available through the day.
