PIAA Basketball Championships

The PIAA Basketball Championships return to Penn State's Bryce Jordan Center this Friday and Saturday.  There will be 4 Finals games Friday and 4 Saturday (A-AAAA Girls' and Boys'). Don’t miss the action as the state’s best high school boys and girls basketball teams converge at the Jordan Center!  Visit our PIAA Special Section for more information!

Maple Harvest Festival and Pancake Buffet at Shaver's Creek

Enjoy a Pancake Breakfast and learn how the syrup is made this weekend at Shaver's Creek.  Activities include learning how to identify and tap maple trees, seeing the process of turning sap into syrup, hearing live music, seeing live birds of prey and, of course, eating all-you-can-eat pancakes and maple syrup.  Find out more here.


Keystone Classic Ballroom Dance Competition

First Thursday State College kicks off springtime with a performance by J.R. and Natalie with Bill Filer at 7 pm on Heister Street on April 1st.  Parking is Free at all municipal meters and lots.
