This Saturday, be sure to visit the 13th Annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Spring Fling Rummage Sale at the Penn State Ag Arena from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Admission is FREE!  There will be a Preview Sale from 7:30-8:00 am ($5 fee). Flea market finds include: furniture, house wares and linens, toys, sports equipment, electronics and much more! Outdoor Expo

The Appalachian Outdoors 2010 Outdoor Expo will take place this Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, experts representing more than 30 vendors will be at Appalachian Outdoors. On Sunday, nine different activities which you can join, will be set up. You can go on one of two trail rides, climb the Alpine Tower at Stone Valley, hike the trails and beautify the area as you go, or make your way to a local crag and climb to your heart's desire. Bastardi faced Brenda Ekwurzel of the Union of Concerned Scientists in a segment Stephen Colbert called "Science Catfight." New Faces of an Ancient People - Traditional American Indian Powwow

American Indian dancers and drum groups from American Indian reservations and American Indian communities across North America and Canada will travel hundreds – some thousands – of miles to State College for one of the finest Traditional American Indian powwows in the Northeast, held this Saturday and Sunday at Mt. Nittany Middle School. This Powwow had more than 6,000 visitors last year and has earned a national reputation as an excellent example as a family event. Admission is free to the public.
