Alan Jackson's Freight Train Tour

Alan Jackson, one of country music’s most popular mainstays, will bring his 2010 Freight Train Tour to Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center this Friday, May 21 at 7:00 p.m. with special guests Josh Turner and Chris Young. More than fifty of Jackson's singles have reached Top 30 on the Billboard country charts, including 25 that reached No. 1. It's sure to be a great night of music! (Ticket info and more here)

Memorial Day Weekend

Boalsburg, the birthplace of Memorial Day, is the place to be next weekend.  The PA Military Museum will have World War II Revisited and the WWII Service Canteen Saturday and Sunday along with the AACA Car Show Monday.  The village of Boalsburg will also have activities and events all day Monday to celebrate Memorial Day.  Be sure to check out the StateCollege.com Community Calendar for everything going on in and around State College!

Centre Community SkatePark Grand re-Opening

They have added extra bark to the Tussey Mountain Skate Park!  Recently completed park improvements and added features have injected new life back into the course and you can check them out this Saturday at the Skate Park Grand Opening event. While at Tussey Mountain, be sure to check out the batting cages, driving range, par-3 and go-kart track.  If you are looking for some fun in the sun this summer, Tussey is the place.  (more info)
